INTRODUCTION

This Sarasota kitchen upgrade focused on improving the visual finish of the cabinetry and adding architectural detail to the kitchen island.

Small carpentry upgrades often create the biggest visual transformation in a modern kitchen. Crown molding above cabinets and decorative island panels help turn a standard kitchen layout into a finished architectural space.

The goal of this project was to enhance the cabinetry lines, add contrast to the island, and complete the overall design with professional finish carpentry work.

PROJECT DETAILS

The kitchen originally had clean modern cabinetry but lacked finishing trim along the top line of the cabinets.

Custom crown molding was installed across the full cabinet perimeter to visually extend the cabinetry toward the ceiling and create a complete architectural profile.

The kitchen island was upgraded with vertical decorative paneling finished in a contrasting dark color. This added texture and created a visual focal point in the center of the room.

The existing stone backsplash and lighting fixtures complement the new carpentry details and help unify the kitchen design.

The final result is a clean, modern kitchen with refined trim details and a strong island centerpiece.
