PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project features a custom board and batten accent wall installed along a multi-story staircase in Fort Myers, Florida. The goal was to add architectural structure to a tall, visually empty wall while keeping the space clean, neutral, and cohesive with the home’s interior.
The accent wall spans the full height of the staircase and upper landing, creating a strong vertical focal point without overwhelming the space.

DESIGN DETAILS
The board and batten pattern was adapted specifically for the staircase geometry. Panel spacing was adjusted to maintain symmetry across angled stair lines and upper-floor railings.
A muted gray color was selected to add depth while keeping the space bright. White railings and trim were preserved to create contrast and maintain a modern, airy feel.
This design functions as both an accent wall and architectural framing for the staircase.
