Living Room Upgrade with Accent Walls and Custom Railing – Winter Garden, FL
In this split-level living room in Winter Garden, our team delivered a stylish and cohesive makeover that brought depth and structure to the space.
We started by upgrading the fireplace wall with a rich, chocolate-colored brick cladding that instantly added texture and warmth. On either side of the fireplace, we built tall custom accent walls using board-and-batten molding, carefully matched to the sloped ceiling angles.
Up on the stairway wall, we extended the accent concept with a full-height, symmetrical panel design that follows the shape of the staircase. The entire project was unified with a warm, neutral tone that complements the home’s mid-century vibe.
To finish the transformation, we built and installed new wooden handrails with matte black balusters — combining traditional woodwork with a modern edge.
Scope of Work:
Fireplace wall cladding using faux brick veneer (brown tone)
Two custom board-and-batten accent walls (living room + stairway)
Paint and finish work for all decorative surfaces
New stair railing with oak handrails and matte black vertical balusters
